Doesn't it feel great to take in a cool deep breath of fresh air? You can almost feel your lungs being cleansed of soot, smoke and smog. Likewise your skin sometimes needs a clean break. Once every one or two weeks, remove all your makeup, rinse with cool water and...that's it. If your skin is on the dry side you might consider a light moisturizer, or facial oil. If your skin tends to be oily, then go au naturelle. Try to spend 24 hours without make up, creams or lotions on your face, lips and eyes. Give your complexion a little time to breathe. Of course, if you'll be going outside, be sure to use sunscreen. But if you're inside, do without.
You'll notice that the next day, when you go back to your normal routine, everything will feel a little better.
